**SIL Support Worker - Inactive Sleepover Shift (South Guildford, WA)**

**About the Role**:
Open Sky Disability Services is seeking a reliable and calm **Support Worker** to provide overnight care for a participant in a **Supported Independent Living (SIL)** setting located in **South Guildford, WA**.

This is an **inactive sleepover shift**, meaning support is generally not required between 10 PM and 6 AM unless an incident occurs. The participant requires assistance with bedtime preparation and light morning routine tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with evening routines (e.g. medication, personal care, settling for bed).
- Be present and responsive during the **inactive sleepover** window.
- Support the participant from **6:00 AM to 7:15 AM** with light morning tasks such as dressing, breakfast preparation, and documentation.
- Report any incidents and complete shift handover notes as required.
- Experience supporting NDIS participants, especially in overnight/SIL settings.
- A compassionate and professional approach to person-centred care.
- Solid awareness of safety, boundaries, and sleepover shift responsibilities.
- Capacity to respond appropriately to emergency or behavioural incidents overnight.

- Valid Driver’s Licence & reliable transport preferred
- Medication competency Certificate
- Manual handling certificate

**Desirable**:

- Experience in SIL, respite, or overnight disability care
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services
- Familiarity with positive behaviour support plans

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
