Established in 1979 and headquartered in Stapylton, Queensland, Multinail has over four decades of experience in delivering integrated solutions to licensed timber fabricators across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.

Our Stamping Division is primarily involved in the supply of stamped steel products, using high-speed presses ranging from 15 tonne to 250 tonne capacity, to the pre-fabricated building industry.

About the Position

Based at our Stapylton production facility on the Gold Coast, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to work in our press shop facility.

This role will focus on:

- Maintain and repair stamping presses and associated equipment.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Respond to breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
- Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.




- Perform basic fabrication and part repairs.
- Record maintenance work and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Selection Criteria

- Minimum 5+ experience in equivalent role.
- Trade tested Mechanical Fitter.
- Additional tickets i.e.: forklift, working at heights etc.
- General knowledge of Workplace health and safety standards.
- Industrial maintenance background.
- Fabrication experience.
- Preventative maintenance systems.
- Solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
