Kitchen Hand – Little Scholars School of Early Learning Stapylton

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and want to make a real difference in children’s lives? Little Scholars School of Early Learning Stapylton is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to support our Cook/Chef in preparing fresh, nutritious meals.

About the Role

As our Kitchen Hand, you will support the Cook/Chef with:

- Assisting in the preparation of morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
- Washing, chopping and basic food preparation
- Dishwashing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Receiving and storing deliveries
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Supporting allergy-aware food preparation practices

You’ll play an important role behind the scenes, helping ensure our children enjoy fresh, healthy meals every day.

What We’re Looking For

You will bring:
- A Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Reliability and strong attention to detail





Experience in a commercial kitchen or early childhood setting is highly regarded but not essential.

Hours & Flexibility

- Permanent Part-time role
- Centre hours are 6:30am – 6:30pm
- Flexible working arrangements to support work/life balance
