Purpose

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Powder Coat & Assembly Supervisor to join our team in Dandenong, Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to play a key role in driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement across our Powder Coat and Assembly operations.





You will be responsible for leading daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations that meet customer and business requirements. Working closely with Team Leaders and production employees, you will focus on improving workflow, building team capability, and achieving reliable “right first time” outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

- Oversee daily Powder Coat and Assembly production activities.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery requirements are achieved.
- Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support equipment readiness and preventative maintenance activities.
- Lead problem-solving activities to improve coating quality, assembly accuracy, and productivity.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Team Leaders and production employees.
- Promote a strong safety culture and work closely with OH&S; initiatives.
- Drive accountability, teamwork, and operational efficiency across the department.

About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Previous supervisory or leadership experience within manufacturing or production environments.
- Exposure to powder coating, surface finishing, fabrication, or assembly operations is highly regarded.
- Strong communication and people leadership skills.
- Ability to coach, support, and develop teams.
- Proven problem-solving and continuous improvement capability.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.
