This is a live on island role, working within our supportive and community-focused early learning environment.

Your Role
As a Childcare Assistant, you will support the delivery of engaging and nurturing early learning programs.
You will play an important role in fostering a safe, stimulating, and fun environment where children can thrive.
Where you’ll make an impact
- Assist the Group Leaders and Director in delivering engaging and interactive learning programs
- Support children’s development and help build their confidence and self-esteem
- Create a positive, safe, and fun environment where learning happens naturally
- Assist with preparation and service of food and beverages as required
- Contribute to maintaining a safe,
compliant, and welcoming centre
What we’re looking for
You are passionate about early childhood education and bring both experience and a caring, enthusiastic approach to your work.
You thrive in a team environment and are committed to supporting children during their formative years.
To be successful, you will need:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (Essential)
- Minimum 2 years practical experience in the children’s services industry
- Working with Children Check - Blue Card – QLD (Essential)
- Queensland Child Protection Certificate (InSafe Hands) (CHCPRTT025, CHCPRT001, CHCPRT026, CHCPRT002 or CHCECE057) (Essential)
- QLD Child Safety Training (GECCKO) (Essential)
- Red Nose Safe Sleep Certificate (Essential)
