We are looking for an enthusiastic Lead Educator (1-2.5 year old group) to join our client in their almost brand-new 85-place early learning service in Mount Waverley.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Diploma qualified Educator who has some experience in a leadership role. You will lead a small group of up to 16 children and be supported by experienced and passionate Educators.

Our client's philosophy is promoting chides interest through play-based learning. The service's Reggio-inspired curriculum integrates literacy, numeracy, science, music, social awareness, emotional intelligence and language development into a typical week. There is also access to a weekly visit from an Artist for creative art experiences and a qualified sports coach for an opportunity to work on motor skills.

Responsibilities include:

- Making children laugh while learning!
- Create a stimulating, positive and fun environment for the educators and children
- Ensure learning and development are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
- Implement and evaluate programs indoors and outdoors




- Writing observations and analysing children's progression and development
- Develop strong relationships with children and effectively communicate with parents and carers.

What we are looking for:

- Hold a minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Previous experience as a room leader highly desirbale
- Use your amazing coaching techniques to help develop reflective practices
- Identify areas of improvement and support educators in their planning
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
- Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Can work full-time

**Salary**: $31.00 - $33.00 per hour
