Underpinned by an ambitious growth strategy, Willowtree Communications is looking to expand their team and are seeking to appoint a Senior Consultant, Communications & Engagement (based in our North Sydney office).

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Leading and delivering community and stakeholder engagement in accordance with DPHI expectations around early and effective engagement for State Significant projects and Planning Proposals.

- Delivering community engagement strategies and reports

- Leading major projects as the main interface with authorities.

- Deliver an independent, transparent and accountable consultation process on behalf of clients.

- Support the Director of Communications and Engagement in the creation, implementation and execution of the communications and engagement business strategy.

- Support business development activities including the preparation of proposals and tenders.

- Foster a high-performing culture by mentoring, guiding and developing junior staff as the Willowtree Communications business grows.

here is what we need:

- You have approximately 5-8 years of experience in a similar position.

- Attention to detail and proven ability to write high quality and concise advice, reports and submissions.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience in business development initiatives and building client relationships.

- Experience in both communications and social impact is highly regarded.
