About the Role – Event Marketing Manager

This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role leading the end‑to‑end marketing for all TEMB Signature and Major Events — from initial planning and creative development to onsite delivery and post‑event reporting.

You’ll craft campaigns that capture attention, spark excitement and elevate the Moreton Bay brand across digital, print, outdoor, social and experiential channels.

Role details

- Position: Event Marketing Manager
- Reports to: General Manager | Event Delivery & Development
- Location: 5 Discovery Drive, North Lakes QLD
- Term: Maximum Term – Full Time

What You’ll Be Doing

- Developing, implementing and overseeing full-scale marketing campaigns for all events in the TEMB calendar
- Managing the production of collateral across print, outdoor, digital, social media and EDMS
- Maintaining event websites and Visit Moreton Bay channels
- Reporting on campaign performance and insights




- Managing budgets and ensuring all marketing activities are delivered on time and within scope
- Leading onsite marketing activation and brand experience during events (weekends & public holidays included)
- Fostering excellent relationships with management, partners, suppliers, sponsors and the community
- Identifying opportunities for innovation, improvement and better engagement
- Collaborating across teams and supporting staff, contractors or volunteers where required

What You Bring

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, communications or events
- Experience delivering multi-channel campaigns
- Stakeholder engagement experience (industry, government, media, sponsors, community)
- Strong digital capability — analytics, tools, platforms, AI integration
- Experience leading teams or managing people desirable

Skills

- Strategic and creative thinker with a flair for event storytelling
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong time management and ability to juggle competing deadlines
- Analytical capability and confidence in data-driven reporting
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail
- Physically capable for hands‑on event days
- Driver’s licence desirable
