• Salary Level 4 | $80,390 – $86,010 per annum (pro-rata) | Local Government

About the Role
The City of Wanneroo is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Civic Events & Protocols Administration Officer to support the coordination and delivery of civic events, ceremonies, receptions and awards.

Reporting to the Coordinator Corporate Governance, you will contribute to the seamless delivery of events that reflect the City’s values and uphold civic protocol standards. This includes liaising with Elected Members, Members of Parliament, government agencies and community stakeholders, as well as maintaining accurate records and systems to support event planning and delivery.

This is a varied and fast-paced role, suited to someone who enjoys working collaboratively, managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes.

About You
You are an organised and professional administrator with a solid interest in civic engagement and community events. You bring a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Qualifications in Business Administration, Event Management or equivalent experience




• Knowledge of civic protocol across Federal, State and Local Government
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Well-developed administrative and financial skills with attention to detail
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
• Intermediate computer and data management skills
• A current Driver’s Licence
