- $101,985 - 110,964 per annum (Plus super and RDO)

The City of Boroondara is seeking a Functional Analyst to join our Technology Platforms team. This role acts as key interface between business users, service owners and technical teams to ensure Council’s business applications effectively support Council’s services and community outcomes. This is a hands-on role combining business analysis, stakeholder engagement, documentation and functional support across multiple applications.

A little bit about the role

The Functional Analyst helps deliver support to Council’s business applications and changes.

This role is a key link between business users, service owners and technical teams across Council to ensure applications effectively support Council services and deliver outcomes for the community. In this role you will develop and maintain a strong functional understanding of Council’s business applications and the business processes. The role supports the delivery of functional documentation and requirements gathering and coordinates complex stakeholder engagement and the provision of clear, practical functional advice across multiple systems to their leadership. This role works professionally across Council and liaises with relevant external stakeholders including vendors.

A little bit about you

You will bring experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst or a similar role with strong knowledge of how systems enable business processes. You have experience gathering, analysing and documenting business and functional requirements with the ability to translate business needs into explicit functional requirements,



produce clear, accurate, and user friendly documentation and manuals. You will have experience conducting process mapping, impact analysis and supporting system changes and the ability to provide functional support for multiple applications. You have well developed communication skills and the ability to engage effectively both technical and non-technical stakeholder. You will have a proven ability to work collaboratively in a complex multi-stakeholder environment.

Experience with ERP and/or CRM systems and exposure to local government or the public sector would be highly regarded.
