General Hand – Engineering Maintenance

- Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
- Full time permanent position
- 9-day fortnight
- Ref No: 26-026

The City is seeking General Hands for our dynamic Engineering Maintenance team. You will be responsible for carrying out engineering maintenance on the City's assets and infrastructure, in addition to operating fleet and plant equipment. This is a hands‑on role where you will undertake maintenance on kerbing, concreting, brick paving, bollard and barrier rail replacement, while delivering exceptional customer service to the City’s residents, ratepayers, and employees.

To be successful in this position, you will have a minimum of one year’s experience in engineering maintenance and will hold, or be willing to obtain, the following:

Essential Licences and Tickets

- Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card)
- WA MR Class Driver’s Licence





The City is committed to supporting the right candidate to obtain any additional certificates required for success in this role. Training will be provided where the successful applicant does not already hold:

- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009)
- Basic Traffic Management and Traffic Control Certificates
- Chainsaw Certificate
