Skilled General Hand – Engineering Maintenance

- Salary: $69,764 per annum ($1,341 per week)
- Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
- 9 day fortnight

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Skilled General Hand – Engineering Maintenance to play a key role in maintaining and improving the City’s assets and infrastructure. This hands‑on role offers variety, stability, and the opportunity to work with a supportive team using modern equipment and plant.

We are seeking candidates with at least two years’ experience in engineering maintenance, with demonstrated ability in one or more of the following:

- Post and rail installation and maintenance practices.
- Paving maintenance practices.
- Concrete maintenance practices.
- Signage installation and maintenance practices.
- Traffic management.

To succeed in this role, you will be safety‑focused, adaptable, and keen to contribute to high‑quality outcomes for the local community.



Applicants must hold (or be willing to obtain) the following:

- WA MR/HR Class Drivers Licence (required).
- Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card) (required).
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Control (willing to obtain).
- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009) (willing to obtain).
- Plant Operating Certificate (Chainsaw) ( willing to obtain).
