Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Hydraulic Service Manager to lead our Queensland Service team. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, customer satisfaction, and service growth across the region. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality hydraulic service solutions and building a strong, engaged team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Hydraulic Service team to meet performance, quality, and safety targets.

- Promote a positive and safe working environment,



ensuring appropriate incident reporting and response measures are in place.

- Drive service sales through proactive customer engagement, developing maintenance agreements, and identifying new opportunities.

- Monitor and achieve revenue and margin targets while ensuring sustainable and profitable growth of the service function.

- Oversee workforce capability and development, ensuring relevant licences, inductions and training records are current.

- Manage quality outcomes including lead times, calibration, testing, and continuous improvement actions.

- Implement resource planning and strategic initiatives to support long-term growth and team development.

- Support interdepartmental collaboration and maintain strong communication across business units.

Qualifications

- Trade qualification or relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Mechanical or related discipline.

- Demonstrated experience managing a technical service or field service team, preferably within the hydraulics or heavy industrial sector.

- Strong understanding of service operations including sales, planning, job costing and resource management.

- Sound knowledge of HSE responsibilities and quality management processes.

- Proven ability to lead, develop and engage high-performing teams.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Proficient in business reporting, performance metrics and planning tools.
