Are you a hands-on, reliable and looking for a stable role in a growing manufacturing setting? We are looking for experienced Machine Operators to join our teams at Rosehill, if you have experience withing building materials or a similar environment then this could be your next role.
You will be responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality products of building materials.
What the role involves:
- Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines
- Setting up and installing molds and other machine fixtures
- Setting grinding and cutting edges
- Carry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with Safety procedures as applicable
- Ensure process efficiencies are achieved and maintained
- Ensure production is in line with the specified production schedule
- Ensure product quality is in accordance with relevant specification and that process checks are performed as required
- Actively participate in improvement projects
- Manual Handling tasks are performed as part of this role
- Be versatile and adaptable with a willingness to embrace shift work
- Complying with all WHS safety practices and procedures
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a quality assurance workplace
- Forklift License, highly regarded
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace
- Ability to use computers for the entry and retrieval of process data and machine operation
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- All successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening.
