Commis Chef (Full time or Part-Time)
A vital entry-level role for a motivated chef looking to refine their skills and gain exposure to all kitchen sections.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assisting Chef de Parties with meal preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Preparation of mise en place for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station.
- Working closely with senior chefs and actively participating in the training of new or younger staff under supervision.
Ideal Candidate:
- Relevant commercial cookery qualification (Certificate III or IV).
- High level of energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
- A strong desire to learn and take direction from senior chefs.
