The Genetics team at Westmead Hospital provides specialised care for patients with inherited metabolic and genetic disorders, combining clinical expertise with research to improve patient outcomes.
The Genetics team at Westmead Hospital operates within a leading tertiary referral centre, specialising in lysosomal storage and metabolic disorders. As the Clinical Nurse Specialist of our team you will be based within a multidisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals who are all collectively passionate about integrating advanced clinical care with research, while upholding a commitment to patient-centred and evidence-based practice.

**What you'll be doing**
Join Westmead Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (Genetics), delivering expert, patient-centred care for adults with lysosomal storage and genetic metabolic disorders.
In this role you will be:
- Leading care coordination for lysosomal storage disorder patients.
- Supporting enzyme replacement therapy administration and home infusions.
- Assisting with acute and outpatient metabolic care.
- Promoting evidence-based practice and professional development.

**How to Apply**
**Essential Criteria**:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency. (NSW Registered Nurse - Division 1) and appropriate postgraduate experience.
**Selection Criteria**:
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively organise and prioritise work in a busy clinical environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of biological medicines (enzyme replacement therapy) in a hospital environment.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities.
