We’re looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented professional to join our tight‑knit Learning & Development team delivering exceptional service to employees and stakeholders. What You’ll Do
- Build and manage the annual training calendar.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for compliance and professional development training, including resources and participant communications.
- Track and evaluate training effectiveness through data analysis, continuously improving processes for efficiency.
- Partner with business units to identify skill gaps and promote training opportunities.
- Collaborate on key Learning & Development projects and investigate funding for subsidised or fully funded training opportunities.
- Champion the use of Council’s Learning Management System (LMS) and other training tools.
- Keep information accurate and up to date across systems.
- Confidently facilitate engaging face‑to‑face training sessions, including Council’s Corporate Induction program, acting as a proxy for internal trainers.
What We’re Looking For
- Certificate IV in Business Administration,
Human Resources, Communications or equivalent experience.
- A qualification in Training & Assessment and familiarity utilising the training.gov website is highly regarded.
- A true multi‑tasker with exceptional organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Tech‑savvy with strong attention to detail and confidence working with data and reporting tools and systems.
- Exceptional professional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor your style to suit different audiences and influence stakeholders.
- A confident communicator with a willingness to develop as a presenter and actively promote our Learning & Development brand internally and externally.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all processes.

Salary range: Grade 12 – $75,038.00 – $81,195.08 per annum plus 12.00% superannuation,
for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre‑employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing.
