Remuneration: $57.30 - $69.84 per hour

Location: Cumberland Hospital, North Parramatta

Where you'll be working
Cumberland Hospital in North Parramatta is part of Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) – NSW’s largest and Australia’s oldest mental health facility. This historic site is home to teams driving innovation, respect and compassionate care. As part of a major transformation, you’ll contribute to the new Integrated Mental Health Complex at Westmead while supporting diverse communities across Western Sydney.

What you'll be doing
You will provide high-quality psychological assessment and interventions for adults experiencing severe and complex mental health presentations. Your expertise will contribute to safe,



integrated and consumer-centred mental health services across multiple care settings.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Deliver psychometric, neuropsychological and therapeutic interventions for adult consumers

- Participate in multidisciplinary consultations, case reviews and treatment planning

- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure seamless, integrated and recovery-oriented care

- Provide supervision, education and in-service support to colleagues and students

- Maintain accurate, confidential consumer documentation in line with NSW Health and WSLHD policies

Essential Requirements:

Qualification: Completion of a recognised Master's or Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology
Registration: Current full registration with AHPRA, Psychology Board of Australia

Selection Criteria:

- Experience providing individual and group evidence-based therapy including CBT and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for adults with severe mental illness (SMI).





- Experience providing psychometric and neuropsychological assessments for adults with SMI.

- Experience working in inpatient and/or community mental health settings with adult mental health consumers.

- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills in producing comprehensive reports or briefs.

- Willingness to travel between inpatient and community mental health units in WSLHD.

- Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia.
