About the Role
Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? With part-time opportunities, we’re looking for caring, reliable, and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our team in Norman Gardens.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in promoting independence while supporting the overall physical and emotional well-being of customers in their Supported Independent Living (SIL) home.
Every day will bring recent experiences, meaningful connections, and the chance to make a positive impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Promoting independence through engagement in daily routines
- Supporting daily living tasks, personal care and medication
- Supporting community access services
- Assisting with mobility through safe and appropriate manual handling techniques as required
- Maintaining accurate documentation including daily progress notes and incident reports
What We’re Looking For
- A sound understanding or interest in the disability sector
- No prior experience necessary – just a passion to make a meaningful impact
- Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, including sleepovers)
Essential Requirements
- Current Driver’s Licence (P2 or open)
- Senior First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
- QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
