Our brand new purpose built Moss Vale centre is a 86 place centre, which is anticipated to open in early 2026.
Our purpose built Gregory Hills centre has been rated all seven areas of exceeding in the 2023 Assessment & Rating.
Our Five Dock centre is proudly rated as exceeding in the 2021 Assessment & Rating.

Centre Chef / Cook
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Centre Chef / Cook to join our brand new Moss Vale centre to provide healthy and nutritious meals to the children in our care.
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children, adhering to dietary guidelines and any specific dietary requirements or allergies.
- Ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to in the kitchen, including food preparation and servicing areas.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, ensuring that general day to day procedures are followed.
- Manage inventory, order food supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Collaborate with the centre director and staff to develop menus that meet the nutritional needs of children.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and Raising Stars Early Learning Centre's policies.
What you will bring
- Experience as a cook, preferably in a childcare or school setting.
- Knowledge of child nutrition and dietary needs.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Valid Working with Children Check (can be easily done online).
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
