Our Disability and Specialised Services Division provides valuable support to the South Australian community through direct service delivery, inclusion policy and sector reform work. As a registered NDIS provider, they provide SIL services that supervise and help with everyday tasks to support people living with disability to live as independently as possible. The Division also encompasses quality and clinical services and the DHS Equipment Program.

Role Details

Are you passionate about making a real difference in a persons life? As a Disability Services Officer, you’ll provide vital support to individuals with disabilities, helping them lead independent, fulfilling lives. Your role will include fostering community inclusion, delivering personal care, and building meaningful relationships.

Do you have a strong understanding of person-centred practice? Are you committed to supporting people in a way that upholds their rights, choices,



and dignity? Can you demonstrate your experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans and working alongside people who use a variety of communication or regulation strategies to have their needs met? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Client
You’ll be supporting a proud Arrernte woman originally from Jay Creek (Iwupataka) in the Northern Territory. She brings a natural energy with a great sense of humour and a love for connecting with staff who are friendly, down-to-earth, and enjoy a good laugh. She has a strong passion for dancing—particularly pole dancing—and values close relationships with her family and friends from Alice Springs, who will be visiting regularly.

Special Conditions

National Police Check required.
Employment-related Screening Check required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
Multiple positions available.





To apply you must have and be able to provide proof of the following:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is required for this DSO2 role
- First Aid Certificate
- National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Check
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation
- Completion of the NDIS Supporting Effective Communication module
- Completion of the NDIS Supporting safe and enjoyable meals module.

Duration: Term up to twelve (12) months

Salary Range: $59,616 - $60,250 (DIS02)
