Pharmacy Assistant (Casual)/Pharmacy Student (Part-time) Position at Inala Day and Night Pharmacy.
Inala Day and Night Pharmacy is a community-focused pharmacy dedicated to providing high-quality health services and excellent customer care. Our friendly and professional team works closely with patients, healthcare providers, and the local community to promote better health outcomes.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Student to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthcare, customer service, and learning within a professional pharmacy environment.
This role will be a casual or part-time depending on position listed above with regular hours flexible around university hours (Weekdays only).
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Assisting customers with sales of S2/S3 medications
- Processing sales through point-of-sale system
- Supporting and assisting the pharmacy with accepting in and handing out prescriptions
- Stock handling
- Webster packing
- Providing customer service and patient care
- Maintaining tidiness and cleanliness within store
Qualifications & Skills
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy degree (for Pharmacy Students) OR experience in a pharmacy/retail setting (for Pharmacy Assistants)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A caring, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Computer literacy (experience with Dispense system LOTS is an advantage)
- First Aid + CPR Cert Required
