The Successful Applicant Will Possess:
- An understanding of and willingness to embrace the MACS 2030 Strategy, including the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement
- A passion for teaching and building strong relationships with students
- The ability to lead the learning in the classroom including principals of explicit instruction e.g. retrieval and review, checking for understanding and feedback etc.
- An ability to foster a classroom culture where mistakes are seen as valuable learning opportunities
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to working with our school community to improve student learning outcomes
- Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and evidence-based teaching practices
- The ability to plan and implement engaging learning experiences for all students
- Proficiency in the use of technology to enhance student learning
- Current VIT registration
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school, or a commitment to undertake this study in the future
- A willingness to comply with the school’s Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct

- be accredited to teacher Religious Education
- Hold current VIT registration
- Have a strong commitment to the ethos of the Catholic school
