Are you an experienced, quality-driven powder coater looking for a fresh opportunity in a high-performing, rapidly growing manufacturing workplace?
The Powder Coating Company Pty Ltd, part of a multi-disciplinary manufacturing group in Loganholme, is seeking a skilled lead powder coater to join our team. This role is essential to delivering the premium finishes our group is known for across architectural metalwork, extrusions, and custom steel products,
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating and maintaining modern powder coating equipment within our busy powder coating line
- Preparing aluminium and steel products for coating, including cleaning, pre-treatment, masking and quality checks
- Applying powder coatings to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes in line with Dulux and Interpon specifications
- Monitoring bake times, coverage, adhesion and finish quality throughout the process
- Identifying and resolving any equipment, coating, or surface-preparation issues
- Maintaining accurate job records and production logs
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4 years' powder coating experience, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of pre-treatment, application techniques, film build and finish quality
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing premium-quality work
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Forklift licence highly regarded
