We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our dynamic Burswood team, located on Whadjuk Noongar Country!

About the Role

The Clinical Lead is a key leadership position withing the Perth Metro team and responsible for ensuring the day-to-day clinical work is effectively carried out. Key responsibilities include:

- Facilitate regular clinical case review meetings, consultations, and team meetings to ensure appropriate clinical service delivery and pathway
- Coordinate integrated intake and youth friendly mental health services to young people accessing Youth Focus and co-located services across the region
- Deliver and coordinate robust clinical supervision in accordance with the Organisation's Supervision Policy and provide professional day-to-day support to clinicians
- Contribute to the vision, strategic planning, continous quality improvement, and relevant policy development for service and actively participate as a member of the clinical management team
- Liaise with relevant services and referrers to promote a coordinated service delivery for young people
- Ensure that professional standards of clinical care, record keeping, and reporting requirements are complied with, including relevant legislation and organisational policies and procedures
- Foster an engaging team culture aligned with organisational values
- Support the Service Manager with key people management practices, including performance management, recruitment, onboarding, and reward/recognition

About You

To be considered for this position, applicants will have:

- Tertiary qualifications (bachelor's or higher) in a relevant discipline and current membership or registration with an appropriate qualified body (eg. AHPRA, AASW).




- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience working with young people and families including those at risk of suicide, depression and/or self-harm, and an understanding of the issues that impact on families and young peoples' lives
- Ability to work appropriately with diverse young people and stakeholders, including LGBTQIA+, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people, and CaLD people.
- Demonstrated experience in the leadership of multidisciplinary teams, including the provision of clinical supervision and the facilitation of clinical review and performance management processes
- Extensive experience responding to incidents and mitigating risk, including undertaking complex clinical screening and assessments to determine and respond effectively to risk.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working both in a clinical setting and in an outreach/co-location capacity (non-government or NFP advantageous).
- Post graduate qualifications in an area related to youth mental health is advantageous
- Provide oversight and coordination of student placements, as required
- 'C' Class driver's licence, access to a reliable and willing to travel within the Perth metro area, as required
- Capacity to work outside of standard hours, as required
