About Us
We are a popular Japanese restaurant located in Potts Point, offering authentic ramen and izakaya-style dishes in a friendly and energetic dining environment.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
- Washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen
- Preparing ingredients (cutting vegetables, portioning, etc.)
- Keeping storage areas organised and well-stocked
- Cleaning kitchen equipment and surfaces following hygiene standards
- Supporting the team during busy service periods
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment at all times
Requirements
- Previous kitchen hand or hospitality experience preferred (but not essential)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Robust work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work nights and weekends
- Valid working rights in Australia (WHV, student, PR, citizen)
