About the role
Mathnasium Castle Hill (opening Jan 2026) is seeking a talented and dedicated Assistant Centre Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the smooth operation of our math learning centre, work with students, parents and manage a team of Instructors at our centre in Castle Hill.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting the Centre Director in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre
- Successfully sell the Mathnasium program, build relationships with parents, and achieve optimal customer satisfaction
- Collaborating with the Centre Director to develop and implement engaging learning plans and teaching strategies
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to parents and the Centre Director
- Maintaining a positive, welcoming, and organised learning environment
- Supporting the training and supervision of tutoring staff as needed
What we're looking for
- Experience with sales and marketing is highly desirable
- Must be extremely passionate about teaching and interacting with students and parents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, parents,
and colleagues
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the centre
- A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with the Centre Director and other staff
- Strong mathematics skills through primary and secondary levels
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) required

Job Types: Part time, Casual, Temp to perm
Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

- Castle Hill NSW 2154: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
