Salary Range is $84,000 - $97,000 + Super + Adverse Conditions + Commute Vehicle

About the role
As Supervisor Civils, you’ll lead and inspire teams delivering asphalt, concrete and bridge projects that shape our community. You’ll set the standard for safety, quality and operational excellence! Guiding every project from planning to completion while managing contractors, budgets and resources with precision.
Your leadership will foster a culture of accountability and growth, empowering your team to perform at their best. With your technical expertise and problem‑solving skills, you’ll tackle complex challenges head‑on, keeping projects on track, resources optimised and the community safe – every single day.
What You Will Be Working On
- Lead, coach and inspire civil works teams across asphalt, concrete and bridge projects
- Deliver projects on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards
- Oversee contractors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and City objectives
- Plan, schedule and monitor programs, maximising efficiency and resources
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, safety and service delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Maintain accurate budgets, monitor costs and implement efficiencies
- Champion safety, environmental sustainability and wellbeing in every project
About You
- Substantial experience in civil construction and infrastructure maintenance
- Highly skilled in planning, scheduling and monitoring civil works operations
- Strong leadership, coaching and team‑building capabilities
- Experience managing contractors and community‑facing projects
- Technical expertise in roads, drainage, bridges and footpaths
- Safe operation of civil engineering plant and equipment
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management & Traffic Control tickets (desirable)
- Ability to obtain National Police Certificate
- Passionate about safety, quality and delivering tangible community outcomes
