Casual Pool - Customer Relations Officer

About the Role
We are looking for motivated and reliable Customer Relations Officers to join Team Vincent. As a Customer Relations Officer you will be the "first point of contact" via phones as well as in person, of the City of Vincent.
Key accountabilities
- Acts as a first point of contact for customers and stakeholders and responds to enquiries ensuring that these are addressed, resolved and/or re‑directed for resolution.
- Liaises with customers and stakeholders to deliver service excellence, ensuring that information is accurate, consistent, clearly communicated and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Responds to a wide range of customer enquiries, requests, and complaints, through a variety of customer contact channels, meeting customer expectations in accordance with relevant policies, processes, procedures, and legislation,
within agreed service levels and timelines.
- Contributes to a cohesive team environment by sharing information, supporting, and assisting colleagues in a proactive manner to meet goals and deadlines.
- Works both independently and in a team environment within a customer focussed area.
Please note: This is a casual position, and working hours will vary based on operational requirements. All shifts are scheduled on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. We aim to offer flexibility and will do our best to accommodate your availability. However, as this role supports operational requirements of the City of Vincent, a degree of flexibility is essential.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced customer service workplace, with previous experience working in local government highly regarded.
- Ability to show initiative, to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and a friendly "can‑do" attitude with a strong customer service ethic.
- A National Police Clearance is required for the successful candidate.
