About the Role
After a recent internal promotion, an opportunity is now available in our industry-leading Place Planning team for a recent graduate or a student nearing graduation.
The successful candidate will:
- Manage one of our diverse and vibrant town centres
- Engage with our businesses and Town Teams
- Assist with administering grant programs and delivering community engagement programs
- Assist with delivering projects from Vincent’s Place Plans, the Thriving Places Strategy, the Accessible City Strategy and Arts Plan
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a passionate team player who has:
- Completed or working towards completion towards tertiary qualification in urban design, urban planning, landscape architecture, architecture, arts or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of the current economic, transport, planning and design challenges facing inner city places and town centres.
- Passion for creating outstanding places for people and enabling community participation in strategic planning and design processes
- Strong verbal,
written and interpersonal skills
