Engineering Technical Officer
Location: Stirling, Western Australia
Type: 12-month Parental Leave Cover – Full Time
Start Date: First or second week of January 2026
Salary: From $96,731 base salary + Super

You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of Stirling’s city centre, working on road safety and road improvement projects that drive community growth and improvement. This is a unique prospect to apply your specialised traffic engineering knowledge in a dynamic, supportive team, while covering parental leave for 12 months.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Investigate and design traffic engineering solutions
- Deliver strategic projects for city centre growth
- Respond to customer service requests with expertise
- Prepare and issue construction plans using AutoCAD
- Assess parking and line marking requests
- Liaise with stakeholders and community groups
- Prepare cost estimates and bills of quantities
- Maintain project data and documentation
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a technical officer with a passion for strategic traffic engineering. You’ll ideally bring:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Advanced AutoCAD and design software skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Responsive and adaptive customer service approach
- Experience in municipal infrastructure design
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid White Card and Driver’s Licence
