About the role
Are you a medical receptionist looking for extra money, in a casual role in a supportive after-hours medical clinic? Morphett Vale Medical Care After Hours Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic After Hours Medical Receptionist to join our team in Morphett Vale, SA.
What you'll be doing
Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and skilled manner
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Perform administrative duties such as answering the phone to book appointments, data entry.
Provide excellent customer service to all patients
Liaise with medical staff to ensure productive clinic operations
Maintain confidentiality of patient information
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role
Minimum 6 months of medical reception experience required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using medical software and computer systems, preferably Best Practice.
Ability to work well independently with one Doctor.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Compassionate and patient-focused approach
Australian work rights required for this position
Availability to work both evenings and weekends required for this after hours position
