About the School
Sydney Grammar School is an independent non-denominational day school for boys. The secondary school (Years 7‑12) is located on College Street in the city of Sydney, and the two preparatory schools are located at Edgecliff (Years K‑6) and St Ives (Preschool‑Year 6). About the Role
Edgecliff Preparatory School participates in the IPSHA sporting competition and is seeking expressions of interest from dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated coaches and referees for the following sports:
Football (Soccer)
Basketball
Cricket
Tennis
Edgecliff Preparatory School offers a broad and engaging range of co‑curricular activities that focus on the overall growth and development of each boy. We are committed, through a game‑sense approach, to improve ability, participation and foster a love of sport across all codes offered.
The role is part‑time, working between 10 and 20 hours per week, including Saturday mornings. Training days include Mondays (10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) and Thursdays (10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.). There are opportunities to increase weekly hours through additional activities held during the week.
Applicants must hold a current first‑aid certification and a Working with Children Check (WWCC) number.
About You
The successful applicant will be highly motivated and ideally possess coaching experience in schools, clubs or elite sporting programmes. Applicants must have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with people at all levels of the Sydney Grammar Edgecliff Prep School community.
