Job Title: Chef – Café / Italian Restaurant
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team at our café and Italian restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Italian cuisine, a love for fresh ingredients, and the creativity to deliver high-quality, consistent dishes to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Italian and café-style dishes
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet our standards
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen in line with food safety regulations
- Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas
- Manage stock, ordering, and minimise waste
- Work effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chef (experience in Italian cuisine preferred)
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for cooking and delivering great customer experiences
