About Us
Airlie Smile Care is a privately owned dental clinic in Airlie Beach, Whitsundays. We are a trusted general practice with a strong patient base and a commitment to delivering high-quality, comprehensive care. We are expanding into a new, purpose-built dental facility next year and are seeking a motivated dentist to join our growing team.
Position Overview
We are looking for a dentist who values a thorough and patient-centred approach to clinical care. You will provide a wide scope of general dentistry and will have opportunities to expand your skills with support from experienced clinicians and a highly trained team. This role is suitable for both experienced dentists and recent graduates.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general and family dentistry in a private practice setting
- Diagnose and deliver appropriate restorative, preventive and cosmetic treatment
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure patient safety standards
- Communicate clearly with patients and build ongoing professional relationships
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues to ensure smooth workflows
Skills & Experience
- AHPRA registration (or eligibility for registration)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ethical clinical approach and commitment to ongoing learning
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
What We Offer
- 24–32 hours per week (flexible scheduling available)
- Percentage-based remuneration — robust patient demand from day one
- Mentoring and support for skill development including implants, aligners and digital dentistry
- Well-equipped practice including intraoral scanning, with CBCT being added soon
- Relocation support considered for suitable candidates
Location
Airlie Beach, Queensland — a regional community with access to a wide variety of local services and recreational facilities.
