Overview

Field Technician – Full Time

- Salary: $72,053 per annum ($1,385 per week)
- Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
- 9-day fortnight
- Ref No: 25-055

Do you enjoy working outdoors and have experience in the maintenance of natural areas?

Parks and Natural Environment are seeking a passionate Field Technician to join our Natural Workplace team. In this hands-on role you will undertake bush regeneration duties including chemical and manual weed control, planting, fencing, seed collection and propagation of native plants.

Responsibilities

- Undertake bush regeneration duties including chemical and manual weed control
- Planting and fencing
- Seed collection and propagation of native plants

Qualifications and requirements

- Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management or equivalent
- Chemical Certificate (Prepare and apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases AHCCHM307, Transport and store chemicals AHCCHM304 and Control weeds AHCPMG301)
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Control certificates




- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Chainsaw Certificate
