An exciting opportunity has opened up to join their People & Culture team as an HR Coordinator.
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this is an ideal role for someone to put their HR studies into practice.
You’ll be supported by a knowledgeable and dynamic leader who’s passionate about mentoring and helping professionals thrive.
The company is based in South Melbourne, close to public transport.
This role is 5 days onsite.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the HR Manager and wider team across a range of HR functions while learning on the job in a hands-on workplace.
- Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes
- Maintaining HR records and managing employee data
- Supporting with timesheets, payroll inputs and leave tracking
- Helping coordinate training, development and performance review activities
- Answering general employee queries and assisting with day-to-day HR operations
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of HR systems and processes
You will have:
- A degree in Human Resources
- Ideally some exposure to HR through an internship, placement or part-time role
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive nature, with a willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
- Confident with Microsoft Office (especially Word, Outlook and Excel)
