Pay: $40.65ph - $66.09ph

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Indooroopilly – York Street, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
In this role, you will:
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

Our Centre – We are an 83-place centre offering 6 learning rooms (3 Nursery, 1 Toddler, and 2 Kindergarten). Our beautiful outdoor play areas encourage curiosity, exploration, and social interaction. A dedicated onsite cook prepares fresh, nutritious meals daily through Kids Gourmet Food (KGF), ensuring children receive healthy and balanced meals.
Experienced Leadership – Our Centre Director brings 16 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, including 9 years with Goodstart (2 years as Assistant Director and 4 months as Centre Director). Supported by an Educational Leader with 4 years’ tenure, our leadership team is passionate about empowering educators, fostering professional growth, and maintaining high-quality learning outcomes.
