About the Opportunity
The Crown Solic's Office (CSO) is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Administrative Support Officer to join our supportive and welcoming Business Services Section. In this dynamic role, you'll be the backbone of our team, providing vital administrative support to the Director, Business Services, HR & Business Manager, and staff across the BSS, as well as supporting the wider CSO. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of tasks from reception and first-level system support to executive assistance for committees and educational programs. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to the smooth running of legal services that support the South Australian Government.
What You'll Do
Deliver efficient and effective administrative support to the BSS and CSO teams
Provide back-up reception duties and be the friendly face of our office
Assist with HR administration, recruitment processes, and general business functions
Triage system queries and provide first-level support to users
Support committees and help deliver continuing education programs
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with office procedures

About the Business
The Crown Solicitor's Office, through the Attorney-General, provides legal services to government, Ministers, agencies and departments, including legal advice, representation before courts and tribunals, negotiating commercial contracts, drafting and production of legal documents, counsel for the conduct of summary prosecutions and Magistrates' appeals, native title claim management, land conveyancing and investigation.
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory.



Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
