AEMO issued directions to generators in South Australia during billing weeks 49– .
In accordance with NER Clause ******B (c)(1), AEMO is required to appoint an Independent Expert to assess and determine the additional compensation claims for the Directed participant that exceeds the $20,000 threshold and exceeds the $100,000 aggregate threshold.
AEMO nominated an Independent Expert on 7 March **** with no objections received. AEMO then appointed Sami Aoude from Intelligent Energy Systems Pty Ltd as the Independent Expert to determine compensation.
