Rangedale Group Pty Ltd is seeking for skilled Motor Mechanics to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing internal combustion engines and the mechanical components of lightweight motor vehicles in their fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, lubrication, and engine tune-ups.
Identify and troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues in vehicle components.
Disassemble and inspect major engine parts, including transmissions, steering systems, and suspensions.
Replace defective parts and reassemble components according to manufacturer specifications.
Use diagnostic tools and computers to test and evaluate vehicle systems.
Accurately document all repairs, maintenance, and parts used for each vehicle.
Respond to emergency breakdown calls, providing in office assistance as needed.
Key Selection Criteria:
Qualifications:
Trade qualified mechanic
Knowledge of OHS and Protected Work Practices
Experience & Skills:
A minimum of three (3) years’ professional experience in a comparable role
Robust numeracy, verbal, and written skills
Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
