Refrigeration Installation Technician – located in Sydney, NSW, Australia.
What You’ll Do
As an Installation Technician, you will ensure that equipment is installed to the highest of standards to ensure that our stores are able to provide a great service to our customers.
- Installing refrigeration equipment at new and renewal sites, performing troubleshooting and identifying issues with equipment
- Planning, coordinating and completing projects in conjunction with your site team and project manager
- Assisting your project manager in scheduling and planning labour resources and ordering materials
- Liaising with our technical team on task status, working closely with construction teams, informing engineers, planning for replacements and prioritising capital works
What You’ll Bring
- Qualified Supervisor Certificate (Refrigeration, Air Conditioning) OR Endorsed Contractor Licence (Refrigeration, Air Conditioning), Arctic Refrigerant Handling Licence, Construction Induction and Driver’s Licence required
- Post‑apprenticeship experience (supermarket experience preferred)
- Leading hand / Job running experience in commercial refrigeration is highly desirable
- Experience within the commercial refrigeration service and installation industry, with commercial supermarket experience preferred
- A solid understanding of supermarket rack systems, including TC02 technology and confidence in current refrigeration/air conditioning control technologies
- Emerson / Site supervisor controls experience advantageous
- Flexibility to travel (including short stays) to various sites throughout Sydney,
Regional NSW and work nights as required
