Operating from a 1:1 display apartment onsite at Parkwood Golf Course, the successful applicant will build and refine a database of potential clients. Working closely with the Parkwood Golf Club and our South Australian based Marketing team, the applicant will be involved with setting and operating sales events, functions and sponsorships with a view to create a sales pipeline and referral network. Nurturing these clients through the construction process and ultimately moving them into their new home, will be the journey the applicant will navigate with their clients.
This role reports to the State Sales Manager - QLD. The position is full-time 5 days per week, with some after hours and weekend work forming part of overall success.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, mature-minded and experienced professional, with:
- Highly developed and proven organisational, leadership and time management skills
- Exceptional communication, listening and interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to demonstrate empathy to effectively relate to retirees from diverse backgrounds
- Property sales or leasing experience, including experience interacting with high-net-worth clients
- Minimum 1-2 years of property sales or leasing experience required
- A proven experience applying the QLD Retirement Villages Act
- A sound knowledge and understanding of the Retirement Industry (preferable).
- The necessary registration required to sell retirement village leases in QLD (or will be willing to obtain)
- Sales registration must be obtained within the probation period if not already held
- Current and valid Queensland Drivers licence
- Current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (or willing to obtain)

Achievement of agreed sales targets of new and resale homes
Promote sales by attending shopping centre promotions and sports, charitable and service club events
Maintain positive resident relations & liaison with resident committees
Attend the sales office and manage all enquires in the CRM
Participate in the handover procedures between Construction, Village Management or new residents
