Job Description
This role sits in the Parks and Environment team within the Technical Services directorate and will provide a high standard of customer service and administrative support in a professional, efficient and courteous manner.
The key responsibilities of this role are to:
- Answer all incoming phone calls, TechOne and email inquiries, politely and efficiently to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to the Manager, Coordinators and Officers within the Parks and Environment Services branch.
- Complete formatting of letters, memos, tenders and other documents as required.
- Maintain Parks and Environment services digital filing system.
- Ensure all corporate documents are saved into the City's record keeping system.
- Maintain and update the Branches web pages.
- Responsible for the processing of utility bills.
- Responsible for raising purchase orders and authorising payments as per delegations.
- Manage the park booking process for events and functions in the City's parks.
- Deliver process improvements in the administration of departments functions.

Essential criteria
- Highly developed and proven interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to establish, develop and maintain new systems, strategies and procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Adaptable and willing to accept and engage in Change Management/Processes
- Well-developed ability to use corporate computer systems such as TechnologyOne, Content Manager and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Customer Service and/or other relevant experience.
- Demonstrated understanding in the role and function of a Parks and Environment team within a Local Government context.
Salary Package
In line with the City of Subiaco Inside Staff Industrial Agreement 2025, this position is classified as a Level 4, with a salary range of $74,220.64 to $84,667.44 per annum, exclusive of superannuation.
