Your new role
As a Labourer at the City of Gold Coast Recycling Centres, you'll be part of a hard working and supportive team committed to delivering excellent service to the public. Your role will be hands-on and customer-facing, offering variety and the chance to make a real impact in your community. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing general labouring duties across the site
- Maintaining cleanliness through site clean-up and litter collection
- Assisting and directing customers to appropriate recycling areas
- Responding to customer enquiries with professionalism and a helpful attitude
- Supporting the team in ensuring the site operates smoothly and safely
What you will need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in contributing to the community. You'll also need:
- A current Construction White Card
- A valid C Class Driver's Licence
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends
- Previous experience in labouring or customer service roles desirable
- Two recent and relevant references
