Salary: Level 8 – Inside Workforce Agreement + super (based on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead a team of Environmental Health Officers
- Deliver routine inspections of statutory premises
- Coordinate targeted surveillance to manage health risks
- Oversee assessment and review functions for compliance
- Manage disease investigations and complaint responses
- Prepare for emerging public health challenges and regulations
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a passionate leader with strong technical expertise and a commitment to community health. You’ll ideally bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Health or related field
- High-level knowledge of environmental health principles
- Robust decision-making and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation and processes
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Current Driver’s Licence and National Police Clearance
