The Role
Beyond Health Services is seeking an experienced and fully qualified Occupational Therapist with expertise in Autism (ASD). This is an exciting chance to work closely with individuals living with ASD while also supporting clients with a diverse range of complex needs. You will utilise your full range of skills, working across a variety of conditions, including neurological disorders, physical disabilities, and chronic illnesses, ensuring each client receives the highest level of care and support.

About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist at Beyond Health Services, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive functional capacity assessments, evaluating clients’ abilities and support needs
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans aimed at maximising function, independence, and quality of life
- Work with a diverse caseload, including individuals with MND,
neurological disorders, acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions
- Recommend and prescribe assistive technology, mobility aids, and home modifications to improve accessibility and safety
- Provide education and training to clients, caregivers, and support networks, ensuring effective management of progressive or complex conditions
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring holistic and person-centred care
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to ongoing service improvements
About You
- Degree-qualified Occupational Therapist with full AHPRA registration
- Experience working with neurological conditions, physical disabilities, and complex care needs
- Strong knowledge of assistive technology, home modifications, and adaptive strategies
- Confident in conducting Functional Capacity Assessments and developing comprehensive reports
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and client-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport for community-based visits
NDIS Compliance
To ensure compliance with NDIS requirements, you will need to hold or be willing to obtain the following:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Completion of NDIS Modules
- Valid Police Check
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Location
This role is based in VIC, providing services in the surrounding areas.
