Job Summary:

Armstrong Bricklaying is seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Pump Operator to safely and efficiently operate concrete pumping equipment on construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting concrete pump systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards and overseeing the Line Hand

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain trailer-mounted concrete pumps.
- Set up hoses, pipes, and pump systems in accordance with job requirements.
- Deliver concrete to-reach areas on job sites in a secure and timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, concreters, and other team members.
- Perform daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on pump equipment.
- Monitor pump operations and troubleshoot as necessary to ensure continuous flow.
- Clean pump and related equipment after use and maintain equipment cleanliness.
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures,



including PPE and site protocols.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and job records as required.
- Line hand to assist operator

Requirements:

- Current LR (Light Rigid) truck license.
- Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Proven experience operating concrete pumps.
- Strong understanding of concrete pumping principles and site safety standards.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy hoses and equipment.
- Ability to work in outdoor and variable weather conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable:

- Mechanical aptitude or basic troubleshooting experience.
- Experience on both residential and commercial job sites.

Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications, with opportunities for overtime.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
