Position: Bookkeeper – Part Time (2 Days)

As we continue to expand, we’re seeking an experienced bookkeeper to support business growth and ensure efficient operations.
About the Role:
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment and enjoys being the financial backbone of a close-knit team.
- Dedicated bookkeeping position supporting two related businesses
- Work alongside a supportive finance team and collaborate closely with project managers and operations
- Be a central contact point for staff, clients, and suppliers
- Work onsite from our North Parramatta office two days per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including invoicing, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and maintaining accurate financial and stock records
- Assist with ordering materials and supplies, including issuing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and allocating invoices to the correct projects
- Reconcile supplier statements and bank accounts, promptly addressing any discrepancies
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and assist with profit & loss reviews
- Support payroll processing, including new employee setup
- Use the company’s job-tracking system to maintain accurate project progress and cost records
- Provide administrative and finance support to the Financial Controller, including ad-hoc tasks as required
Candidate Profile:
- Qualification in Cert IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping, Diploma of Accounting, or similar.
- 5+ years’ experience in bookkeeping and office administration (construction industry experience highly regarded)
- Robust knowledge of MYOB and current/recent experience using the software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and confident navigating CRM systems, Cloud storage, custom internal apps to extract financial related information.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work autonomously, and contribute positively to a small, fast-paced team environment.

What We Offer:
Competitive Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 + superannuation per year pro rata.
