About the Company
Our client, an ASX-listed gold exploration company with a portfolio of Archaean orogenic gold projects across Western Australia, is seeking an Exploration Manager to lead its discovery function. The company is well-funded and entering a discovery-driven phase, with multiple advanced targets scheduled for systematic drill testing in 2027.

Position Overview
The Exploration Manager will lead the design, planning and execution of all exploration activities, from early-stage target generation through to drill program delivery and resource definition. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Archaean orogenic gold systems and a genuine appetite for discovery, coupled with the leadership and operational management skills to run programs across multiple project areas. Perth office-based, with ad-hoc site presence during drilling.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, budgeting and execution of exploration programs across multiple WA project areas.
- Oversee geological interpretation, 3D modelling and structural analysis to define and rank high-quality drill targets.
- Manage and mentor a team of geologists and field personnel, fostering a culture of technical excellence, data quality and safety.
- Hold accountability for tenement management, heritage, environmental and Programme of Work compliance.
- Ensure all exploration activities are completed on time, within budget and to the highest safety and environmental standards.
- Deliver clear technical updates, reports and recommendations to the executive team and Board,



including ASX exploration results.

Qualifications & Experience

- Tertiary qualification in Geology or a Geoscience-related discipline.
- 10+ years’ mineral exploration experience, with a strong focus on Archaean orogenic gold systems in Western Australia.
- Registered DEMIRS Exploration Manager.
- Proven success managing drilling campaigns, budgets and exploration teams across multiple projects.
- Advanced geological interpretation and 3D modelling skills (e.g. Leapfrog, Micromine, QGIS).
- Experience as a Competent Person under JORC for exploration results.
- Excellent leadership, communication and reporting capability.
- Valid WA manual driver’s licence and willingness to work on a campaign rotation basis.
